ClickSoftware is an early adopter of integrating IoT functionality into its platform for use by the field service industry. Using IoT, we can create smarter homes and buildings that use sensors and devices with learning capabilities and artificial intelligence. In field service, using IoT can enable business to conduct predictive maintenance and avoid breakdowns on expensive equipment.
For instance, when heating and cooling goes down for an entire building in 90 degree weather, employees are left uncomfortable and unhappy, limiting efficiency in the workplace. By leveraging real-time IoT, through artificial intelligence, machine learning, or sensors, the situation could be avoided entirely—avoiding unnecessary costs and downtime.
Aragon Research recognized ClickSoftware for its ability to go “beyond the current approach to field service and traditional scheduling functionality.”
